Resource Center Borrowing Policy

Limits: Resources that need to be returned to us may be borrowed for a maximum of 3 weeks. Exceptions may be made for special circumstances with prior approval.

Reservations: We recommend that reservations be made for specific titles by calling 785-460-8177.

Caring for Resources: Please protect the materials from extreme temperatures, little children and duplication. The person who signs the borrower's card is responsible for lost or damaged items. Many items in our resource library, such as pamphlets and brochure booklets, are available for you to keep.

Copyright: All titles are protected by copyright. Duplicating materials is a violation of federal law and can result in financial penalties. If you would like a copy of the material, you may contact our office for information on how to order from the publisher.

Insurance and Returning Resources: To protect the borrower and the Resource Centers, we ask that resources be returned to the office insured if they are mailed or shipped.
