PCAN staff is available to help communities, organizations and families by providing education in areas such as: prevention of child abuse & neglect, bullying, dating violence, internet safety, and drug endangered children.

PCAN staff is trained for a variety of programs including: Talk About Touching, Second Step, and Partnering with Parents.

Talk About Touching: is a personal safety program for Pre-K through 3rd Grade students. The program is research-based and pilot-tested. It teaches children basic skills to help keep them safe from a range of dangerous or abusive situations.
Second Step: is a violence prevention program for children ages Pre-K to Middle School. The program is research-based and proven effective. It addresses character education, school safety, and state academic standards. Children learn how to respond empathically to others and practice skill steps for calming down, reducing anger, and solving problems.
Partnering with Parents: is a program that helps childcare providers reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect of infants toddlers by using natural relationships with parents to provide support, developmental guidance, and information.

PCAN staff can also do on-site presentations to communities and groups that are addressing these topics.
